Digital Demand Generation Manager

We are looking for an experienced Digital Demand Generation Manager who has passion and drive to build our Digital Marketing function from the ground up.

We’re a start up with smart, experienced people and some ground-breaking cybersecurity products.

If you’d love to get your hands dirty and set up and manage all our digital properties and digital marketing campaigns, then this job is for you. You will manage the development of our website to become demand generation focused, run our SEO and paid advertising campaigns and drive our e-marketing.

As we grow, you’ll be able to build a team to support you but for now, you’ll need to be hands-on, working with freelancers and agencies as necessary. You’ll need to be creative and resourceful and able to be flexible and adaptable.

We’re really looking for ‘on the job’ experience plus some training and good strong Marketing knowledge – particularly around user and buyer journeys. You’ll need to have worked in Enterprise IT and be able to get along with all the jargon and acronyms. If you love Open Source, even better!

We’ve got a great office in Bellevue, WA, and a positive work environment and culture, so this is a pretty cool and refreshing place to work.

Ideally you will have:

  • >5+ years’ hands-on experience in enterprise software digital and web marketing.
  • Recognized Professional Digital Marketing and/or Marketing Qualification.
  • Hands-on knowledge and demonstrated ability to drive SEO, SEM, PPC, ABM etc.
  • Understanding of B2B enterprise IT personas and buying cycle and how to use that for successful demand generation.
  • Ability to thrive in situations where you don’t have all the information to make decisions but resourceful enough to find the information you need.
  • Comfortable with IT vision and storytelling, and have experience introducing and creating demand for highly technical solutions and products.
  • A sense of humor and a positive attitude to do what’s right for the business and our customers.
  • Experience in marketing to existing customers and prospects through Account-Based Marketing techniques.
  • Know numbers like the back of your hands, you take pride in the ownership of your results and over-deliver every quarter on your KPIs.
