What You'll Be Working On

We're looking for a full stack web developer to work on our website and account management backend. Our customer base is growing quickly, and we'll need to make modifications to our customer account management systems in order to accommodate their needs. You'll need to take an existing codebase, improve it, and add additional features as necessary. We must pay attention to our customers' needs, and you'll be responsible for making changes in order to make sure those needs are met.

Who We're Looking For

Are you looking for a fast-paced workplace that constantly pushes you outside your current skill set? Our engineers are responsible for designing, coding, testing, deploying and production support; we don't have dedicated operations or test engineers. So if you’re fearless, a fast learner and this opportunity sounds exciting, you'll love working at Polyverse!

You May Be the Right Fit If You...

  • have experience with React, Node.js and NoSQL systems like Mongo and DynamoDB
  • have designed and implemented production REST APIs
  • have worked with graphic designers and can implement designs with high fidelity
  • understand responsive design and know how to function in a world of unpredictable screen sizes and capabilities
  • have experience with technical SEO (website crawlability and indexation), structured data (JSON-LD), and page speed optimization best practices.
  • have a working knowledge of Linux, and how it operates
  • have used Git and Git Flow in order to manage multiple people working on the same code base
  • have a Github account or a portfolio that shows your chops

Bonus Points If You...

  • have taken over existing codebases, and are passionate about making other developer's lives easier
  • want to make your code good instead of just making it work
  • understand scalability and security
  • have experience with AWS services like Cloudfront, S3, Secrets Manager, ECS and more
